DivisionWALT: Solve division problems with remainders.
We had to do remainders and write a word story explaining how we do it etc...
19/2=
18/2 is 9 so it would be 2r1 because there are 2 9's in 18 and its 19/2 and there is one left over so the answer is 2r1.
Multiplication
WALT: Multiply with large numbers.
We got given a FIO (Figure it out) book with an activity with a bird and we had to multiply large numbers to find the answer.
etc.. 20 x 200= 4000
20 x 20 is 400 but because we want 20 x 200 we add the other 0 to make it 20 x 200 and then we add another 0 for the 400 to make it 400 0.
