WALT use poetic verse to recount an event we participated in.
The Run Bike Run event was usual enough; it had the
A game area, plastic red cones, the field , some ducks, and even a mini medal ceremony after the races.
My friends, my classmates and I did what kids do -
Played a year 6 game of tricky tag for pozis,
Walked around the course,
Waited for the Year 4’s and 5’s to finish racing,
Ran around a big exhausting track,
Finished with a number 6 card,
Puffed out after the race
Cheering for others
Doing the race made me proud of my team.
